Andre Special Needs Center

Andre Special Needs Center is a revolutionary state-of-the-art special needs school whose primary aim is to ensure the children reach 75-90% optimization irrespective of their condition. In this environment, children will be loved and cared for. The special needs school is focused on the treatment, improvement and recovery of its students with learning, speech and communication, physical or behavioral problems for children aged 3 to 20. The center is the first of its kind in Nigeria and the world, offering new hope for struggling special needs children and their families.

Our Services

With a dedicated team of therapists, Andre Special Needs Center is committed to providing innovative and child-friendly therapy services in the following areas: academics, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, applied behaviour analysis, sensory integration therapy, neurological therapy, music therapy, arts and crafts therapy and water therapy.

Our specialized occupational therapist from the United States will give each child a rigorous assessment to take each child’s sensory profile and better understand their needs. The rest of the staff are highly qualified and trained by top American specialists to ensure the best interventions are applied for the recovery of our children.

Our occupational therapy (OT) room is based on the successful model used in the United States, which has all international standard accessories such as platform swings, various slides, therapy balls, and a one-on-one room for light sensitivity training. Special needs children can train themselves in a non-conventional classroom manner, developing their skills.

One of our key focuses in the Andre Special Needs Center is confidence building for these unique special needs children, preparing them academically and developmentally to have a variety of choice careers. Since special needs children have different strengths and talents, and we want to develop their skills to enable them to become future artists, musicians, sound directors or visual directors for the film industry amongst other career choices.
